The Vale da Moita Nº1 quarry is located in Arrimal, Porto-de-Mós, one of the main mining centres of the Estremenho Limestone Massif. Here we extract the limestone generically known as Semi-rijo do Arrimal. It is characterised by its white or light beige colour, with the presence of tiny grains and, more rarely, small marine fossils.
